Story Time

Class sessions run for approximately six to eight weeks in the Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer. Call the Youth Services Department at (217) 732-5732 for more information or to register.

Story Time (6months - 5 years old) sessions are on Wednesday at 10:00 - 10:20 AM. Participants listen to stories, sing and move, and craft a little.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten (newborn – start of Kindergarten) ongoing, self-paced program that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their children to develop essential literacy skills.

Summer Reading Program (newborn – Grade 12) Six weeks out of the summer will be dedicated to fun live programs and performances. You will be able track the books read to you (Read-to-Me) or the minutes that you read and earn exciting incentives.
